As part of our company’s commitment to Environmental Management & Protection, we deliver used batteries to the non-profit organization AFIS.<\/p>\n

AFIS SA, in collaboration with licensed units, collects and recycles used portable batteries. Each battery has a \u201clife cycle\u201d. It starts from its manufacturing plant and ends up to the end user. When the battery is emptied and thrown in the waste, we interrupt its life cycle, we lose valuable raw materials and consequently energy, while some of its elements can pass into the aquifer with dangerous effects on human health. On the contrary, if we throw the empty battery in the collection bins, the “life cycle” of the battery continues, its basic elements are recycled to end up in the production of new batteries or other products.<\/p>\n

As recycling is a pillar of Environmental Awareness, the participation of our company in this action proves our commitment to preventive improvement of environmental performance, complying with the provisions of ISO 14001:2015.<\/p>\n

We recycle paper, empty ink cartridges, batteries, electrical appliances, plastic caps, aluminum capsules etc. Striving for a better environment, through simple programs of daily practice, is a need and responsibility of all of us, and a gift to ourselves and our children!<\/p>\n

There is no doubt recycling is on the front line in the war to save the future of our planet and humanity.<\/p>\n
