October 2026
Protecting the environment begins with respect for every form of life.
World Animal Day, celebrated every year on 4 October, reminds us that caring for and protecting animals is an integral part of our responsibility towards nature and our planet.
At TETRAS we believe that environmental responsibility extends beyond initiatives and measurable targets. It is also reflected in symbolic yet meaningful actions that help protect wildlife, care for animals in need, and support the people and organizations working every day to safeguard their welfare.
Guided by this philosophy, we have supported initiatives addressing different species and conservation needs:
- Support for ARCHELON’s work through the adoption of a sea turtle nest and an injured sea turtle, contributing both to the protection and conservation of the species and to the care and rehabilitation of injured turtles.
- Support for the rehabilitation of a bird of prey through “ANIMA”, covering its feeding costs for a period of three months while it undergoes rehabilitation.
- A donation to the Gytheio Animal Welfare and Envorimental Association, helping support its work in protecting and caring for animals.
Each of these initiatives represents a different way of providing practical support for wildlife and biodiversity. At the same time, they highlight the importance of organizations that dedicate their time, expertise and resources to protecting animals and preserving the natural balance.
Raising awareness is everyone’s responsibility. Protecting animals is not just a one-day commitment. It is an ongoing attitude, reflected in our respect for the natural environment, responsible behaviour and support for initiatives that make a difference.
As a company, we seek to contribute to a stronger culture of environmental awareness, recognising that sustainability is not only about natural resources, but also about the life that depends on them.
Because every form of life deserves our protection. And every act of care, however small it may seem, can become part of a greater change!
