Athens Megaron (Opera and Concert Hall)

A building hosting Cultural events with a surface area of approximately 145.000m², acting as an extension to the existing Megaron Athens Concert Hall.

It includes three major theatres (including the Trianti Hall which is also a conference centre), Conference Rooms, the “Lillian Voudouri” Music Library, a Banquet Hall, large foyer areas, stores, office areas, public event areas and auxiliary facilities.

The parking station has 3 underground levels with a capacity of 750 vehicles.

The complex (along with the 35.000 m² of the pre-existing building) is almost entirely underground while, above it, there is a 20.000 m² garden with plants and trees, a playground and a marble atrium.

One of the largest opera stages in Europe, with 4 synchronized platforms with a capacity of 30 tons and distance of 20 m, 8 smaller platforms, 9 stage trolleys and about one hundred other theatrical lifting mechanisms.
