The International Labour Organization (ILO) has established April 28th as the “World Day for Safety and Health at Work” with the aim of further promoting the issue of prevention of occupational accidents and diseases at international level. This date has also been established by the International Union of Free Trade Unions as a Day of Remembrance for workers who lost their lives in accidents at work. This year, the theme of the day is “The Impacts of Climate Change on Occupational Health and Safety”.
